Continuo Society

Each generation of music lovers has the privilege, pleasure and responsibility to give the most precious gift of symphonic music to those who come after us. The San Bernardino Symphony has been fortunate to have devoted patrons who, through their generosity, have kept the music alive for over 90 years.

Recently several long-time patrons and supporters have left or promised legacy bequests, thereby forming the core of our current endowment. A larger endowment will enable to the San Bernardino Symphony to continue to thrive and to attain ever greater heights of artistic excellence.

Please consider making an enduring gift of a life-time with a contribution to the San Bernardino Symphony’s Endowment and Planned Gift Campaign. Current gifts can be pledged naming the Symphony an insurance beneficiary, based on the sale of real estate, or in your will or trust. The Symphony maintains relationships with a number of excellent local attorneys who can assist you if requested.

All contributions to the San Bernardino Symphony’s Endowment and Planned Gift Program will be enrolled in the Symphony’s “Continuo Society”and will be recognized in concert program books. Become a Member of the Continuo Society now.

Why Join the Continuo Society:

One of the oldest and most prestigious professional orchestras in California, the San Bernardino Symphony boasts an unparalleled standard of excellence under the dynamic leadership of our renowned conductors. A cultural jewel in Inland Southern California, the San Bernardino Symphony greatly enhances the quality of life and economic vitality of the region.

The San Bernardino Symphony performs a full season of soul-stirring concerts each year, including a family concert. It performs for the Redlands Bowl and other arts organizations.

Through its Music in the Schools program, the San Bernardino Symphony is educating the next generation of symphony aficionadas. More than 3,400 students attend our free concerts for the schools year year, and every third grade class in the San Bernardino City Unified School District receives music education workshops from our docents.

Our Conductors visit middle and high school music classes, and actively support local music education.

The San Bernardino Symphony has a significant economic impact on the community... over $2 million dollars in the San Bernardino area during the last season.
